Host Orissa suffered an upset when they lost to Jammu & Kashmir 0-1 in the 7th All-India BSNL Hockey Tournament in a crucial Group-C match at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
The win almost Jammu-Kashmir an entry into the semifinals.
NTR, Delhi crushed Tamil Nadu 8-1 to register their third win in a row and book a place in the last-four round from Group-D.
West Bengal edged out Rajasthan 2-1, Jharkhand blanked Maharashtra 4-0, Andhra Pradesh trounced Punjab 5-0 and Madhya Pradesh humbled Gujarat 5-0 in four other group league matches of the day.
