Unfancied Sports Hostel, Cuttack, posted a convincing 2-0 victory over Tata Steel, West Bokaro, to enter the semifinals of the 12th Tata Utkalika Cup Floodlit Football Tournament at the Unit-6 High School ground in Bhubaneswar today.
Tatun Das and Ashok Das struck a goal each for the winners. Earlier on Thursday night, East Coast Railway outplayed Orissa Police 2-0 in the quarterfinals. Babaji Pradhan and Surjit Tigga scored the two goals for the railway side. In the second semifinal, host Unit-VI Athletic Association trounced Tata Steel (Jamshedpur) 3-0.
