Defending champions Manipur crushed Chhattisgarh 9-0 in the second semifnal of the 8th Junior (U-19) Girls National Football Championship at Satyabrata Stadium in Cuttack today. Manipur will meet last year’s runners-up Orissa in the final on December 11.
Rina Roy Devi was the star of the Manipur win, scoring five goals in the 3rd, 12th, 49th, 62nd and 78th minutes. N Tombi Devi (15th, 30th) scored a brace, while Pramodini Devi (40th) and Binidini Devi (59th) contributed one goal each.
