Orissa lifters Pradeep Kumar Patra and Purna Chandra Bidika have bagged five gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the Asian Powerlifting Championship being held at Tashkent (Russia), a release from Orissa Powerlifting Association said here today. Local teenager Patra, who competed in junior 60 kg weight class, claimed gold in deadlift, silver in benchpress and bronze in squat events. He secured another silver with a total lift of 510 kg. Rayagada lifter Bidika won four gold medals in the 56 kg weight class of the Masters-II category, lifting a total of 355 kg in the process.
