Orissa has bagged 21 medals in the 28th National Masters Athletic Championship held at Jaypur, Rajasthan, a release from Orissa Masters Athletic Association informed today.
The medals include two gold, nine silver and 10 bronze. Prakash Chandra Mishra claimed one gold in 75-plus men`s five kilometer walk, while the other gold was secured by Aniruddh Nag in 75-plus men`s long jump. Other medallists include R Baburao (1 silver, 1 bronze), Debanand Patra (1s, 1b), Ganapati Sahu (1s), A Rajarao (1b), Brundaban Sahu (2b), Prashant Patra (2b), Sujit Mohanty (2s, 1b), Pradip Mishra (1s), Prafulla Rath (1b), Sushama Nanda (2s, 1b), Latarani Das (1s).
