Odisha crashed out in the semifinals of the Sub-junior Boys National Football Championship (Final Round), losing to Sports Authority of India (SAI) 0-2 at JCT Sports Complex in Hoshiarpur (Punjab) today. Odisha reached the last-four stage with three wins and a draw.
Odisha started their campaign with 2-2 draw against host Punjab and then beat Assam 3-1, Goa 5-0 and Kerala 3-0. Odisha qualified for the final round after emerging champions in the East Zone Tournament, held at Chinsurah, West Bengal earlier this year.
