Impressive performance by Rajesh Mohanty, Basant Mohanty, Suryakant Pradhan and Sujit Lenka helped Odisha crush hosts Chhattisgarh by an innings and three runs in their first Elite Group-C Ranji Trophy match at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur today.
The four-day match ended before the lunch break of the penultimate day, fetching Odisha seven points. After conceding a first-innings lead of 81 runs and resuming their second innings at the overnight score of 45 for one, Chhattisgarh were bundled out for 78.
