Cuttack-A and East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECoRSA) scripted easy wins in the first two super league matches of the OCA Senior Men Inter-District T20 Tournament today. Cuttack-A rode on a four-wicket haul by Sunil Kumar Rout to trounce Balasore by seven wickets, while Suryakant Pradhan scalped four wickets to propel ECoRSA to a thumping nine-wicket win over Bhubaneswar-A.
Opting to bat after captain Dibyashakti Chakrabarty won the toss at Ravenshaw University Ground in Cuttack, Balasore found the Cuttack-A bowling attack too hot to handle and folded up for a paltry 73. Right-arm pacer Sunil Roul was most successful bowler for the home team, capturing four wickets for 14 runs, while Deepak Behera and Saurabh Kanojia picked up a brace each.
