Fancied teams Bhubaneswar-A, Cuttack-A and Sambalpur registered back-to-back wins in the OCA Inter-District U-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at different ground in Cuttack today. Three other preliminary league matches of the day were won by Kendrapara, Angul and Cuttack-B.
Half-century each by Anshuman Sahoo and Sudarshan Swain helped Bhubaneswar-A trounce Dhenkanal by 218 runs. Cuttack-A rode on a century by Shashang Rungata and fine allround performance by Saideep Mohapatra to pulverize Balangir by 155 runs.
Sambalpur hammered Deogarh by 190 runs, thanks to a century by Ayush Mishra and a six-wicket haul by captain Shresth Sigh. The six matches of the day produced two tons, seven fifties and four hauls of four or more wickets.
