Rajib L Sahu, Brain H Singh, Dinesh Majhi, Surya Mohapatra and Sudeep Swain put up impressive performance on the fourth day of the OCA Inter-District U-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at different ground in Cuttack today. Rajib Sahu hit an unbeaten 110 and followed it with three wickets for 32 runs to power Balasore to a 111-run win over Puri.
Gajapati allrounder Brain Sahu slammed an unbeaten 53 and captured four wickets for 21 runs to help his team beat Nabarangpur by 54 runs. Kalahandi captain and stumper Dhinesh Majhi was the top scores of the day with a 144 ball 168, which was studded with 17 fours and 9 sixes. But his majestic knock went in vain as Kalahandi lost to Koraput by two wickets.
Surya Mohapatra led Bhadrak to an eight-wicket win over Jajpur, hitting an unbeaten 100, while Jagatsinghpur rode on a five-wicket haul by Sudeep Swain to thrash Kandhamal by 103 runs. Bhubaneswar-B outclashed Bargarh by eight wickets in another match of the day.
