Sai Prayas Pattnaik and Jahid Khan shared honours of the day, bagging five wickets each for Kalahandi and Jagatsinghpur respectively in preliminary league matches of the Inter-District U-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at different grounds in Bhubaneswar and Khordha today.
Wonderful haul of five wickets for eight runs by Sai Prayas helped Kalahandi beat Boudh by 44 runs, while Jagatsinghpur rode on a haul of five for 35 by Jahid to get the better of Koraput by 53 runs.
Balasore, Angul, Rourkela and Mayurbhanj posted wins in four other matches of the day. Bowlers asserted supremacy in all six matches of the day with six among them capturing four wickets each.
