Impressive hauls of four wickets each by Amit Das and Govinda Poddar propelled Sundargarh to a stunning 13-run win over fancied East Coast Railway in their super league match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior & U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack today.
Odisha Blue, Odisha Green, Cuttack-A, Odisha Red and Odisha Violet posted wins in five other matches of the day. Bowlers asserted supremacy in most of the six matches with eight among them capturing four wickets each. No batsman was able to score a century in the day. However, eight batsman hit a half-century each.
