Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) today announced the State Senior and U-19 Women teams for participation in the respective BCCI U-19 tournaments, likely to be held in September and October this year. Madhusmita Behera and Subhra Nirjharini Swain will lead the Senior and U-19 teams respectively.
The players were selected based on their performances in the Senior and U-19 trial matches which concluded on the 19 August, 2021 and 27th August, 2021 respectively. A total of 59 senior and 44 under-19 women players from all affiliated district units of OCA participated in the trials which were held across venues in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
