Odisha Violet batsman Om T Munde hit an unbeaten 103 to power Odisha Violet to a 44-run win over Odisha Red in their super league match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior & U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground-2 in Cuttack today. Munde earlier represented Ganjam district in the preliminary league match of the ongoing tournament.
East Coast Railway, Sundargarh, Odisha Green, Jharsuguda and Cuttack-A posted wins in five other matches of the day. Among other successful batsmen of the day, Aryashree D Bhatta (Khordha), Ankit K Munda (Sundargarh), Aakash Chandra Nayak (Odisha Blue), Anshuman Rath (Odisha Green), Roshan Prasad (Jharsuguda), Pratyush Pradhan (Cuttack-A) and Anurag Sarangi (Odisha Red) hit a half-century each.
