Sekhar Majhi bagged five wickets for 21 rims to enable Odisha Red crush Rourkela by six wickets in their super league T20 match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior & U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground-2 in Cuttack today.
East Coast Railway, Odisha Blue, Odisha Green, Cuttack-A and Odisha Violet posted wins in five other matches of the day. Bowlers dominated most matches of the day with three others bagging four wickets each. They were Jayanta Behera (East Coast Railway), Biplab Samantray (Cuttack-A) and Sarbeswar Mohanty (Odisha Violet).
SUPER LEAGUE T20 RESULTS (30 August, 2021):
Match 31 (At SCB Medical College Ground, Cuttack): Sundargarh 106/10 in 19.5 overs (Jayanta Behera 4/19, Rajesh Mohanty 2/18) lost to East Coast Railway 107/7 in 19.3 overs (Ankit Yadav 30, Prasanta Sahoo 30, Sujit Lenka 20; Soubhagya Rout 2/15) by 3 wickets. PoM: Jayanta Behera.
