Delhi beat Odisha by 18 runs in a third-round Elite Group-A match of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 Men One-Day Cricket Tournament at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mohali today. This was the second defeat for Odisha in three matches so far.
Delhi captain Yash Dhull hit 84 to enable his team post a competitive total of 189 after electing to bat. Shresth Singh was most successful bowler for Odisha, taking three wickets for 27 runs, while Niranjan Gouda picked up two for 21.
In reply, Odisha were bowled out for 171. Among successful Odisha batters, Mohammad Sohail Khan top scored with 45, while Shresth Singh and Sushil Barik contributed 25 and 22 respectively.
