Sports Odisha FC settled as runners-up in the U-15 JSW Youth Cup Football Tournament, losing to RoundGlass Punjab FC 0-1 in the final at JSW Township, Bellary, Bengaluru today. Prasanta Ekka of Sports Odisha won the Best Goalkeeper Award.
In the semifinals, Sports Odisha edged out Reliance Foundation Young Champs 4-2 in penalty shootout after play in the regulation time ended in 2-2 draw on May 14. Sports Odisha marched into the semifinals with four successive wins. In their fourth and last league match, Sports Odisha beat host Bengaluru FC 4-2.
