Bhubaneswar girl Mannata Mishra and Cuttack boy Anmol Mohanty emerged Best Swimmers in the 62nd Odisha State Swimming Championship (Junior & Sub-junior), which concluded at Biju Patnaik Swimming Pool Complex, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar today.
The three-day championship was organised jointly by Odisha State Swimming Association (OSSA) and Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha. According a DSYS press release, a record number of 258 swimmers participated in the championship.
The competition process was fully digitalized with electronic touch pads. The championship was streamed live on Sports Odisha YouTube pace. But media was not allowed to cover the event.
