Kho-kho players made Odisha proud as both the boys and girls teams of the State bagged silver medal in the 4th Khelo India Youth Games in Panchkula, Haryana today. It was heart-breaking for Odisha that the State teams missed both gold medals by a proverbial whisker.
In the final matches, Odisha men went down to Maharashtra by three points (11-14), while Odisha women were edged out by Maharashtra by just one point. In the semifinals, Odisha boys beat West Bengal 16-13, while Odisha girls trounced Punjab by an innings and one point.
