Bhubaneswar-A thrashed Odisha Yellow by nine wickets in their truncated T20 Super League match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground in Cuttack today. Five other matches of the day were abandoned due to rain or wet outfield.
As many as 11 out of a total of 30 matches were abandoned due to inclement weather since the tournament started on August 5. The abandoned matches have been rescheduled and would take place from August 10 to 13. The tournament is being organised by Odisha Cricket Association.
RESULTS:
August 5 (Match 1 at Ravenshaw Ground-1): Bhubaneswar-A 128/8 in 20 overs (Sandeep K Pattnaik 40, Sushil Barik 40; Debasish Samantray 28; Jayanta Behera 3/15, Suryakant Pradhan 2/24) beat East Coast Railway 117/9 in 20 overs (Abhishek Yadav 38, Alok Mangaraj 23; Hitesh Nayak 4/18, Pratik Das 3/10) by 11 runs.
