Odisha youngsters secured a total of 15 top-three positions in the Phase-1 of the Khelo India Junior Women Swimming Series, which was held at Narmada Taran Pushkar in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh on 20 and 21 August 2022. The 15 top-three positions include five first positions, six second positions and four third positions.
Vadra Satpathy was most successful Odisha swimming, capturing first position in three vents and second position in one event in U-18 age group. Other two first positions were claimed by Akankshya Nayak and Daspreet Kaur Sodhi. Akankshya and Daspreet also finished second and third respectively in one event each.
