Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda and Kendrapara posted wins in respective preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Inter-District Cricket Tournament at different grounds in Cuttack today. Sundargarh rode on a four-wicket haul by Piyush Panigrahi to beat Boudh by 22 runs.
Subham Priyadarshi captured five wickets for four runs to help Keonjhar beat Rayagada by 72 runs. Hauls of three wickets each by Sachin Yadav, Sujit Thakur and Shubham Singh enabled Jharsuguda prevail over Sonepur by nine wickets. Kendrapara beat Mayurbhanj by 51 runs thanks to fine allround performance by Rakesh Das.
