Odisha men and women teams qualified for the 72nd Senior National Basketball Championship by finishing third in the East Zone Championship, which was held at Patliputra Sports Complex from October 14 to 17 October 2022. The final phase of the National championship will be held at Udaipur (Rajasthan) from 27 November to 4 December 2022.
In the East Zone Championship, Odisha men team played two matches, won one and lost one. Odisha men lost their first match against West Bengal 76-89. In their second game, Odisha beat Uttar Pradesh 67-56.
