Indian Girls Team won the silver medal in the Asia Rugby U-18 Sevens Championship after losing to United Arab Emirates (UAE) 5-26 in the final, held at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal on 11 December 2022. Indian boys finished fourth in the two-day tournament, after losing to Malaysia 5-36 in the 3rd/4th place match.
Indian girls qualified for the final by finishing second at the league stage with three wins and a loss. They beat Malaysia 58-0 Thailand 26-12 and Nepal 41-0, but lost to UAE 14-31.
