The campaign of Sports Odisha in the Futsal National Club Championship ended on a winning note for the Odisha State Government team as they beat Techtro Swadesh United FC 6-5 in their sixth and last Group-A match at KD Jadhav Hall, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi today. This was the second win for Sports Odisha, who finished sixth in the Group A with six points. They won two matches and lost four.
Delhi FC and Electric Veng FC secured the top two places in the group to advance to the semifinals. From Group B, Mohammedan Sporting and Minerva Academy FC booked semifinals berths. A total of 14 teams participated in the championship, which was conducted by the All India Football Federation.
