Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the Tennis Centre at the Kalinga Stadium Sports Complex in Bhubaneswar. He also launched the logo and jersey of the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championship 2023 Finals, which is scheduled to be held at this newly constructed venue from April 4 to 14.
The Tennis Centre has been certified by International Tennis Federation (ITF) and features one synthetic centre court with a gallery seating for 1400, gymnasium, players changing room, auditorium, and rooms for dignitaries, media room, broadcast and administrative purpose. The Tennis Centre has been developed at a cost of Rs 25 crore.
