Bhubaneswar swimmers crowned State champions

Bhubaneswar emerged overall champions, mustering 903 points in the 63rd Odisha State Swimming Championship, which concluded today at Biju Patnaik Swimming Pool Complex in Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar today. Sambalpur finished runners-up with 693 points.

Around 300 swimers, including 95 women from 15 districts participated in the four-day championship, which was jointly organised by The Odisha State Swimming Association (TOSSA) and the Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha. DSYS Joint-Secretaries Ranjit Parida and Bijayananda Nayak were chief guests of the opening and closing ceremonies respectively.
