Odisha crashed out of the 27th Senior Women National Football Championship 2023 (Final Round), losing to Haryana 0-2 via penalty shootout in the second semifinal at GNDU Main Ground in Amritsar, Punjab today. Shootout rule was applied after play in the regulation time ended in 1-1 draw.
Tamil Nadu beat Railways 3-1 in the first semifinal earlier in the day. In the title clash, Tamil Nadu will take on Haryana on June 28. Odisha reached semifinals by finishing second in Group-A league with 12 points from five matches.
