United Youth Sporting Club emerged champions in the Bhubaneswar B-Division Football League, defeating Kalinga Insttitute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) 4-1 in the final at Unit-I High School Ground in Bhubaneswar today. Dinabandu Das scored scored a brace to be adjudged the Player of the Match.
Earlier, United Youth SC beat Lingaraj Football Club in the first semifinal 3-1. But the outcome of the second semifinal between Ardor Football Academy and KIIT remained to be a mystery.
The tournament, featuring a total of 19 teams, was organised by Bhubaneswar Athletic Association (BAA) from 4 August 2023.
RESULTS:
August 4 (Match 1): Ardor FA Seniors (Aryan Kumar 10, Bishnu Das 28, Ankit Yadav 52, 65, 68, 72) beat MS Eleven (Manas Ranjan Marandi 6) 6-1. PoM: Ankit Yadav.
