Budding Odisha tennis talents Subhranil Barman and Krishna Raj won the boys and girls singles title respectively at the AITA-OTA U-18 Championship Series Tournament, which concluded at KT Global School in Barunei, Khordha today.
Subhranil, who hails from West Bengal and plays for Odisha, emerged singles champion defeating Odisha opponent beat Shubham Sarangi in the final in straighrt sets of 6-2, 6-1.
This was maiden AITA title for Subhranil, who trains at Gurukul Tennis Academy in Mendhashal, Bhubaneswar, under the guidance of coaches Santosh Mallik and Chinmay Pradhan. He is student of KT Golabl School.
