Khordha won the gold medal in the 2nd Odisha State Junior Womens Hockey Championship, beating Sundargarh 3-2 in the final at Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneshwar today. While Sundargarh settled for the silver medal, Deogarh secured the bronze medal, defeating KIIT & KISS 4-0 earlier in the day.
State Sports Director Sidhartha Das, Joint Secretaries Bijaynanda Nayak, Kailas Das and Ranjit Parida, Director Lt Col Rajesh Technical, Athletics COO Group Capt Dinesh Suri and Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC Project Director Rajiv Seth ONTHHPC graced the presentation ceremony as guests.
