Odisha ended campaign with a consolation win in the BCCI Women U-19 One-Day Trophy, defeating Himachal Pradesh by 48 runs in their fifth and last Group-B match at Amingaon Cricket Ground in Guwahati, Assam today. This was also the first win for Odisha, who lost two matches, while their other two games were abandoned due to rain.
Bijayalaxmi Behera starred in the emphatic win over Himachal, hitting an 89-ball 71, which was studded with 11 boundaries and one six. She also picked up one wicket for six runs. Opting to bat, Odihsa compiled 188 for eight and then dismissed Himachal for 140. Kallansi Dhritya was most successful Odisha bowler, taking three wickets for 11 runs.
