A sparkling knock of 167 by Hemanth Rathi enabled Khorda prevail over Balasore by 82 runs, via DLS Method in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Mens Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Bidanasi Ground in Cuttack today. Cuttack-B, Keonjhar, Rourkela, Nabarangpur and Puri posted wins in five other matches of the day.
Cuttack-B rode on a five-wicket haul by Rajesh Mahakuda to beat Kandhamal by seven wickets. Arpit Mahanta and Chandra Sahoo also bagged wickets each to guide Keonjhar to a 169-run win over Dhenkanal. Rourkela thrashed Baragarh by five wickets with Rehan Khan picking up four wickets for the winners.
Fine all-round performance by captain Dilip Bisoi (4/32 and 74) helped Nabarangpur overpower Paradip by four wickets, while Puri rode on a four-wicket haul by Durga Dash to stun Sambalpur by 58 runs.
