Sundargarh-B clinched the title in the Senior Women Inter District Football Championship for PC Behera Trophy, defeating Cuttack 1-0 in the final at Lengu Mishra Stadium in Bargarh today. Suhasini Sha scored the all-important goal in the 62nd minute. The champion and runners-up teams received cash prizes of Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively.
The tournament was organised by Football Association of Odisha (FAO) in collaboration with State Sports & Youth Services Department and District Athletic Association, Bargarh. A total of 22 teams participated in the tournament, which commenced on August 23.
