With a highest-ever haul of 29 medals, India occupied the 18th rank in the 17th Summer Paralympic Games, which is being held in Paris, France from 28 Autust 2024. The 29 medals include seven gold, nine silver and 13 bronze. The previous highest haul of 19 medals (5 gold, 8 silver, 6 bronze) was achieved at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
India has fielded an 84-member contingent at the Paris Paralympics. But no one from Odisha has been able to get a place in the Indian contingent.
