Three teams from Balangir made a clean sweep of all 10 gold medals in the 2nd Inter-District Lawn Bowls Championship, which concluded at Kalinga Stadium Tennis Centre in Bhubaneswar today. Balangir District won the team title, bagging seven gold medals.
Balangir Club finished runners-up with two yellow metals. JSM Balangir secured the remaining one gold medal. The three Balangir teams also captured five silver and four bronze medals. A total of 192 players from 12 districts participated in the three-day championship.
