Odisha qualified for the final rounds of the 78th Senior Men National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy from Group F when they beat Chhattisgarh 4-1 at the GNDU Sports Complex in Amritsar, Punjab today. Kartik Hantal scored twice, while Roshan Panna and Jitu Muduli netted one goal each for Odisha.
Led by Arpan Lakra, Odisha emerged Group-F toppers, winning both of their league matches in the three-team group to collect six points. They scored 10 goals and conceded two. Earlier in their opening match, Odisha trounced Madhya Pradesh 6-1 two days back.
