Odisha Volleyball Association (OVA) has announced the State men and women teams for the Senior National Volleyball Championship, scheduled to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan from 7 to 13 January 2025. Both the teams feature 14 players each. Besides, five players have been named as stand-by for each team.
Team announcement was made after a two-day open selection trial, held at Biju Patnaik Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar on December 26 and 27. The selection process was conducted by OVA general secretary Dr Gaganendu Dash, FIVB Level-III coach Amrit Pal Singh, FIVB Level-II coach Sudhansu Bhusan Mishra and State Sports & Youth Services Department OSD Dhiroj Kumar Patnaik.
