Odisha will field a strong contingent of 300 athletes, including 165 female, in the 38th National Games 2024-25, which is all set to be held at different places in Uttarakhand from 28 January to 14 February 2025. According to Odisha Olympic Association (OOA) General Secretary Avijit Paul, the 300 athletes will vie for medals in 26 disciplines.
Odisha contingent will be accompanied by 73 support staff (coaches, managers and physios). Ashok Kumar Sahu, OOA Joint Secretary of Odisha Olympic Association, will lead the contingent as Chef De-Mission. Among the athletes Raiguru Suryansh Mohapatra and Pranab Das will compete in two disciplines (modern pentathlon and triathlon).
