Three players from Odisha were today selected to represent Indian mens team in the Bhubaneswar leg of the FIH Pro League 2024-25, which will be held at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium from February 15 to 25. The three Odisha players are: defenders Amit Rohidas, Nilam Sanjeep Xess and forward Shilanand Lakra.
Veteran drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh will lead the 32-member team with Hardik Singh as his deputy. India will play against against Spain, Germany, Ireland and England twice each in the Bhubaneswar leg, which will be followed by Amsterdam leg in the Netherlands from June 7 to 12 and the Antwerp leg in Belgium from June 14 to 22.
