Nita Football Academy added one more jewel to its crown by retaining the title in the Odisha Womens League (OWL), which concluded with the closing ceremony at Unit-VI Football Ground in Bhubaneswar today. Nita Football Academy and Sports Odisha tied for the top spot with 26 points each from 10 matches.
However, NITA Football Academy were declared champion by virtue of a superior goal difference (48-32). Odisha Police finished third with 25 points. Remaining unbeaten in the tournament, NITA Football Academy won eight games and drew two, scoring 50 goals and conceding two.
