Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Balangir, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara and Cuttack-B posted wins in respective Group E and F preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at different grounds in Cuttack today.
Artik Sahu bagged seven wickets for 13 runs as he propelled Sundargarh to a 267-run win against Gajapati, while Malkangiri rode on a sparking knock of 165 by Amrita Mandal to demolish Jagatsinghpur by 203 runs.
Among other outstanding performers, Lokanath Prusty (Mayurbhanj), Sayed Irfan (Cuttack-B) and Jami Tanay (Malkangiri) claimed four or more wickets each, while Aditya Anand, Tohid Ansari (both Sundargarh), Dikshant Mallick (Cuttack-B) and Suryakanta Malik (Jagatsinghpur) scored a half-century each.
