Bhubaneswar-A will meet Cuttack-A in the final of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack tomorrow. Bhubaneswar-A beat Sundargarh by six runs, via DLS Method in the first semifinal today.
But the second semifinal between Cuttack-A and Bhubaneswar-B was abandoned due to rain and the former qualified for the final by virtue of earning more points at the league stage.
Sundargarh rode on a six-wicket haul by Om Behera to bowl out Bhubaneswar-A for 121. But the magnificent bowling performance of Om went in vain as Sundargarh lost the match via DLS method. Pragyan Kumar Patri picked up three crucial wickets for Bhubaneswar-A to be adjudged as the player of the match.
