Odisha settled for the silver medal in the 15th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2025 (Division-A) as they squandered a 2-0 lead to go down to Haryana 2-3 in the final at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar, Punjab today. Punjab won their 3rd/4th Place match against Uttar Pradesh 4-3 in shootout after a 3-3 draw over the four quarters to clinch the bronze medal.
Earlier in the semifinals, Odisha defeated Punjab 3-2 while Haryana thrashed Uttar Pradesh 3-0. Odisha reached the semifinals, beating Karnataka 2-1 and Andhra Pradesh 10-0 in their two Pool-D league matches, and Manipur 9-0 in the quarterfinals.
