Odisha missed a semifinal berth in the 30th Senior Women National Football Championship (Final Round) for the Rajmata Jijabai Trophy after holding Tamil Nadu to a 1-1 draw in their fourth and last Group-A league match at RKM Ashram Ground in Narainpur, Chhattisgarh today. Odisha bowed out of the championship, finishing third in their group, while West Bengal and Tamil Nadu advanced to the last-four stage.
West Bengal emerged group toppers with 10 points from four matches. Odisha and Tamil Nadu tied for the second spot with seven points each, winning two games, losing one and drawing one. With both the teams scoring eight goals and conceding four apiece their goal difference also proved to be identical (four each).
