Odisha registered their first win in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 One-Day Cricket Tournament, defeating Andhra by three wickets in their second Elite Group-A match at Gurugram Cricket Ground, Sultanpur today. Aditya Anand, Piyus Ranjan Mantri and Sayed Tufayl Ahmad played important roles in the Odisha win.
Aditya hit an unbeaten 53 with the help of three boundaries and two sixes. Piyus picked up two wickets and scored an unbeaten 38. Tufayl scalped two wickets and contributed 27 runs. Earlier in their opening match, Odisha lost to Gujarat by four wickets.
