Riding on match haul of 11 wickets for 98 runs by Ayush Barik and a second-inning century by Om T Munde, Odisha crushed Hyderabad by 63 runs on the fourth and last day of their CK Nayudu Trophy (U-23) Elite Group-B match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad today. Odisha earned 11 points, while Hyderabad gained five points.
The victory assumed greater importance as Odisha fought back to win the match after conceding a first-innings lead of 36 runs. Left-arm spinner Barik bagged eight wickets for 45 runs in the first innings and three for 53 in the second. Munde scored a 178-ball 107 which featured 12 boundaries and one six.
