Vidarbha beat host Odisha by 87 runs on the last day of the four-day CK Nayudu Trophy (U-23) Elite Group-B match at MGM School of Sports, Gurudijhatia, Cuttack today. Vidarbha garnered 11 points from this competitive match, while Odisha settled with four points.
This was the first defeat in three matches for Odisha, who earlier beat Hyderabad by 63 runs and drew with Assam. Odisha batters Om T Munde and Shreyansh Bhardwaj slammed 98 and 75 respectively in the second innings. Odisha will next face Haryana at Veer Surendra Sai Stadium in Sambalpur from 23 to 26 January 2026.
