Orissa`s top woman karateka Valina Valentina was felicitated by Utkal Prantiya Marwari Foundation (UPMF) at a function in Bhubaneswar today.
Orissa Khadi and Village Industries Board chairman Samir Mohanty and office-bearers of UPMF handed over mementos to Valentina for winning two gold medals in the National karate championship at Kolkata earlier this month.
They also wished Valentina success in the World karate championship to be held in Japan from November 12 to 16.
Earlier in August, local lass Valentina had finished fifth in the Asian karate championship at Malaysia.
