Adidas saluted Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar for becoming the highest Test scorer by reaching a mammoth score of 11,954 runs, surpassing West Indian cricketer, Brian Lara`s record.
Adidas presented him with a customized pair of cricket boots on the occasion. The shoes were designed and developed exclusively for Sachin at the adidas headquarters in Germany.
Only four such pairs have been sculpted and Sachin will be sporting his exclusive shoes on the pitch in future.
Speaking on Sachin`s achievement, Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, adidas India said, ``It is with great honour that we present these cricket boots to the legend on creating history. Sachin Tendulkar has proven once again that impossible truly is nothing.``
The white pair of shoes have 3-Stripes on the forefoot representing the colours of royalty. `The Highest Run Scorer in Test Cricket` is written on top while Sachin Tendulkar`s name is imprinted on the back of the shoe.
`Impossible is nothing` is printed on the front in recognition of his grand achievement while his record run score of 11,954 is engraved on the side.
